She spent 20 years with BP in Norway and in the UK in a variety of management and technical positions. She served as General Manager for Wytch Farm in UK in the period 2003 to 2005. She has an extensive portefolio regarding board positions, e.g. chairman of the board in BIS Industrier AS, Asco Norge AS, BP's downstream activity in Norway, Screen Cancer AS, and member of the board in Falck-Nutec. Mrs. Kielland serves as the Chairman of ScreenCancer AS. She served as Non-executive chairman of the Downstream Board of BP Norway from 2008 to September 2010. She was also the Chairman of the BP Norway Upstream Board. She serves as Director of Bjørge Asa. She serves as a Director of Grenland Group ASA. Mrs. Kielland holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma of Education from Norwegian Institute of Technology.
